Serving Beyond Borders

RCMD Vice President Rtn. Izzie Kristen Shayne Enrile participated in an international gathering in Port Vila, Vanuatu, connecting with advocates working toward more sustainable and resilient communities. Her experience highlights how global connections and shared ideas can inspire meaningful local service and action.

The spirit of service does not stop at the borders of our communities.

We are proud to Vice President, Rtn. Izzie Kristen Shayne Enrile, for taking part in an international gathering in Port Vila, Vanuatu, where people from different communities and backgrounds came together around a shared commitment to building more sustainable and resilient communities across the Pacific.

Her participation is more than an international experience. It is an opportunity to listen, learn, exchange ideas, and see how communities in different parts of the world are responding to shared challenges, particularly in waste reduction, environmental responsibility, and community resilience.

For the Rotary Club of Metro Delta, experiences like these remind us that meaningful service can begin locally while being inspired by a much bigger world.

Every conversation can open a new perspective.
Every connection can become a partnership.
Every idea learned beyond our borders can become an opportunity to create change back home.

As Rtn. Izzie brings these experiences with her, we hope they continue to inspire new conversations, new collaborations, and new ways for RCMD to serve our communities with greater purpose.

Because service is not limited by geography.

It connects people, communities, and countries through a shared belief that we can leave the world better than we found it.

From Port Vila to Metro Manila, the journey continues.

We unite for good, lead with integrity, and create lasting impact.
