Leadership is not simply about holding a position. It is about learning, connecting with others, and using that knowledge to serve with purpose.

On May 9, 2026, Rotarians and emerging leaders from Rotary International District 3780 gathered at Novotel Manila Araneta City for the Club Leadership Learning Seminar (CLLS) 2026, a day dedicated to leadership development, learning, collaboration, and service.

The seminar provided an opportunity for Rotarians to step away from their usual routines and come together with a shared purpose: to become better leaders for their clubs and better servants to their communities.

Throughout the day, participants exchanged ideas, learned from fellow Rotarians, and strengthened relationships across the district. Each discussion and interaction offered a valuable reminder that leadership in Rotary is a continuing journey, one shaped by experience, teamwork, and a willingness to learn.

More than the lessons presented inside the seminar room, CLLS 2026 created a space where connections were strengthened and new perspectives were welcomed. It brought together individuals with different experiences but one common commitment: to make service more meaningful and more impactful.

For emerging leaders, the seminar was also an opportunity to see the possibilities that come with taking an active role in Rotary. Leadership begins with the willingness to participate, to listen, and to take responsibility and CLLS provided an environment where those qualities could grow.

As Rotary continues to develop leaders who are ready to respond to the needs of their communities, gatherings such as CLLS remain important. They remind us that strong clubs are built by people who continue to learn, support one another, and lead with a clear sense of purpose.

CLLS 2026 was, ultimately, more than a leadership seminar. It was a gathering of people united by a belief in the power of service and the responsibility that comes with leadership.

And as we move forward, the lessons, friendships, and inspiration gained from that day continue to encourage us to lead better, serve together, and create lasting impact.
