Celebrating Excellence and Service at the Rotary Golden Wheel Awards 2026

An inspiring evening of excellence, service, and fellowship marked the Rotary Golden Wheel Awards 2026, hosted by the Rotary Club of San Francisco del Monte (RC SFDM), with the Rotary Club of Metro Delta serving as co-host.

The prestigious occasion brought together Rotarians, distinguished guests, and service advocates to recognize exceptional non-Rotarians whose achievements, dedication, and contributions have made a meaningful difference in their respective fields and communities.

For Metro Delta, being part of the celebration was both an honor and a proud milestone—especially as the club had the opportunity to nominate two outstanding individuals whose work exemplifies excellence and service.

Recognizing Excellence Beyond Rotary

The Golden Wheel Awards serve as a meaningful reminder that service takes many forms. While Rotary brings people together through a shared commitment to service, there are countless individuals outside the organization whose dedication creates positive change in society.

This year, Metro Delta proudly nominated Caesar R. Vallejos and Engr. Eleanor M. Olegario, both of whom were recognized among the distinguished awardees.

Caesar R. Vallejos was selected as an awardee in Media Practice – Broadcasting Management, recognizing his excellence, leadership, and contribution to the field of media and communication.

Engr. Eleanor M. Olegario was likewise honored in Science and Technology – Climate Technology, recognizing her dedication to sustainable innovation and her contributions to advancing solutions that respond to environmental challenges.

Their recognition represents more than professional achievement. It celebrates individuals who use their knowledge, expertise, and talents to contribute to something greater than themselves.
